Telegraph, 08 Nov 2021
An experienced caver has been trapped underground for three days after falling 50ft from a ledge that collapsed from under his feet.
A huge rescue operation, involving more than 242 people, is being led by the South and Mid Wales Cave Rescue Team - who spearheaded the successful rescue of 12 young Thai footballers who became trapped for nine days in a flooded cave in 2018.
The man fell while caving in Ogof Ffynnon Ddu, a cave system near Penwyllt in the Brecon Beacons, on Saturday.
