Macron announces Covid-19 booster shot campaign for 50 to 64-year-olds • FRANCE 24 English

French President Emmanuel Macron addressed the nation Tuesday amid a fresh rise in the rate of Covid-19 infections in France. He announced that, from December 15, booster shots will be mandatory for over-65s to continue using France's health pass to access restaurants, cultural events and intercity rail travel. He also announced that a booster shot campaign would begin for 50 to 64-year-olds from early December. FRANCE 24's French Politics Editor Marc Perelman tells us more.
