Health officials in the UK are set to publish plans for the COVID booster programme on Monday, as the government tries to ramp up protection going into the winter.

The briefing takes place in the Downing Street Briefing Room and features Deputy Chief Medical Officer for England Professor Jonathan Van-Tam; Chair of the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) Professor Wei Shen Lim; chief Executive of the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) Dr June Raine.
