Police investigating the deaths of two teenagers off Bournemouth beach have confirmed they were not in contact with any vessel while in the sea.

A man has been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter after a 17-year-old boy and a 12-year-old girl died off Bournemouth Pier.

Sky News spoke to an eyewitness from the scene who had been surfing at the time.
