The intelligent greenhouses also allow farmers to monitor the growth of their produce remotely. Farmers say it is a more economical way to produce better products and avoid losses from natural disasters. Villagers sell the mushrooms on e-commerce platforms through live streaming. One online shop owner says his sales volume has reached more than 12 million yuan (US$1.9 million).
