In an interview with CGTN anchor Xu Qinduo, Colin Mackerras – an emeritus professor at Australia's Griffith University – who has visited China's Xizang Autonomous Region four times, says that there is no human rights problem in Xizang, as hyped by the Western media. On the contrary, the living and welfare standards of people in Xizang are constantly improving, with remarkable achievements in railroad construction, poverty eradication and universal education.
