The European Council President Charles Michel wrapped up his visit to Beijing. The meeting comes at a time when the U.S. is pressuring its allies to ban tech exports to China and the Ukraine conflict still impacts the EU's energy security and economy. However, trade is an area where the EU and China would both like to see engagement, especially as both see it as important to kickstart their economies.
