King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla met with Canadian actor Ryan Reynolds and actor Rob McElhenney during a visit to the Wrexham football club on Friday.

Reynolds and McElhenney, who is best known for the television series “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” posed for photos with the royal couple and introduced them to the soccer team.

Reynolds and McElhenney bought Wrexham AFC, the oldest team in Wales, in 2020. Their journey as owners of the team was charted in the show “Made in Wrexham,” which follows the highs and lows of the club on and off the pitch.

Charles and Camilla were in Wales to confer city status on Wrexham.
