Calgary woman falls victim to fake package delivery scam

Hilary Chapple received a message over the holidays, claiming to be regarding a Canada Post package delivery.
Chapple, who is on disability payments, thought her brother sent her money as a holiday present, so she clicked the link provided, only to be scammed out of her money.
Cybersecurity experts say there are ways to avoid such scams, including checking with the actual delivery company, and being skeptical when asked to give out too much information. Tomasia DaSilva has the story.
