Police have named the gunman who killed five people at a condo building in Vaughan, Ont. on Sunday before he was shot dead by an officer.

Global News has learned that Villi was involved in court action against the condo and a number of tenants talked about an ongoing dispute between him and the condo board.

The victims were three men and two women, all have been shot and killed in three separate units.

Police said the office of the chief coroner will be confirming the identities of those killed in the shooting. Catherine McDonald has more.

"He caused a lot of trouble not only for the board and the city of Vaughan but also for the residents here" said Lisa Chang, whose mother is a resident in the building. "Racial slurs were thrown at my mom, many different things that came from him," Chang told Global News on Monday.
