In New Brunswick, a miniature horse is giving people a chance for a re-do of a Christmas photo if the photograph with Santa maybe didn't go as planned.

Max the miniature pony is giving old St. Nick a run for his money as his owner says children sometimes warm up to the animal more than they do Santa, giving parents a chance to take a picture with a smile on their child's faces.

As Shelley Steeves reports, while Max has no plans to replace Santa's reindeer, he's still helping spread smiles in the province this holiday season.
