COP15: Endangered plants critical for medications, scientists say

Climate change will wipe out many endangered plants which are critical to producing new pharmaceuticals, according to scientists.

These worries are being voiced as the COP15 biodiversity summit continues in Montreal, where global leaders are highlighting similar concerns about saving endangered animals and plants.

Touria Izri examines the link between biodiversity and medicine, and how we're losing the very things helping to keep us alive.
