Fed official says rate hikes are beginning to work

(18 Jan 2023) Cleveland Fed President Loretta Mester says falling inflation is a sign that the Federal Reserve's sharp interest rate hikes are having their intended effect, validating the Fed's forecasts that inflation will steadily decline this year. (Jan. 18)
