Man claiming to be Wagner defector flees to Norway • FRANCE 24 English

A man who claims to have been a member of Russian mercenary group Wagner is seeking asylum in Norway after a harrowing escape across the Russian-Norwegian border, his lawyer said Monday. Norwegian police said in a statement that a man was "detained by border guards at 01:58 am" on Friday morning, near the Pasvikdalen valley.
