As domestic and international travel demand rebounds, many Chinese airlines are planning to resume more flights and are now on a recruitment drive to hire more flight attendants to make up for cabin crew lost due to attrition during the Covid-19 pandemic. The response from jobseekers has been strong. China’s Hainan Airlines has received more than 20,000 applications for just around 1,000 vacancies.
