Vadim Karasev, director of the Institute of Global Strategies of Ukraine, said in an interview with CGTN that China has always followed its unique international moral values. He pointed out that China's proposal to resolve the conflict in Ukraine peacefully is in stark contrast to the approach of the U.S., which he said has always wanted to use the military to solve the problem and counted on Ukraine to achieve a military victory. He also stressed that China's peace plan is very timely, and can be seen as the basis for multilateral efforts to promote the peace process.
