China's and Ukraine’s presidents Xi and Zelenskyy spoke on the phone this week for the first time since February 2022. Lithuanian president Gitanas Nauseda tells DW which conditions he says China needs to fulfill if it wants to be credible as a moderator between Ukraine and Russia. Nauseda also calls for the Patriarch of the Russian Orthodox Church to be put on the EU sanctions list. DW's Chief political correspondent Nina Haase spoke to Gitanas Nauseda in a hotel in central Berlin.
