The family of 33-year-old Linda Beardy, as well as Lake St. Martin First Nation leaders, are expected to speak on Thursday after her body was found at Brady Landfill in Winnipeg.

This will be the family's first time speaking publicly after the discovery of Beardy's body.

Police have not yet released a cause of death. The entire landfill is currently on an operational pause as the investigation continues.
