With Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva's state visit to China from April 12 to 15, agriculture is a major focus in bilateral relations. In this special edition, The Hub with Wang Guan looks at how China helps Brazil to modernize its agriculture and increase yield. Wang Guan traveled to São Paulo and met with Edimilson Linares, R&D Director at LongPing High-Tech Brazil, and Shi Liang, President of LongPing Agriscience, to see how Chinese technology in seed selection is changing Brazil's agricultural landscape and improving yields and revenue in the industry. LongPing High-Tech Brazil makes more resilient and resistant seeds and has gained an increasing market share by streamlining its seed selection process and reducing costs. Brazil and the world are now reaping the rewards of this fruitful cooperation. And local employees tell Wang Guan that they work in an environment conducive to personal learning and development.
