France's constitutional court has given its green light to President Emmanuel Macron's proposal to increase the minimum pension age from 62 to 64. The ruling was met with widespread opposition with hundreds of protesters pouring out onto Paris's streets to march against the bill. The bill was initially forced through France parliament using a special mechanism. Sophie Binet, head of the CGT union called for protests to continue.
