Suella Braverman said she was "confident that nothing untoward has happened" in the handling of her speeding offence amid growing pressure on Rishi Sunak to open an investigation into the Home Secretary.

Ms Braverman told broadcasters: "What I will say is that in my view I am confident that nothing untoward has happened."
