Ecuadorian President Guillermo Lasso attends his impeachment trial before the National Congress in Quito as supporters and opponents gather outside to watch the trial on a giant screen. The right-wing president is accused by his critics of wrongdoing in a state contract to transport crude oil. The motion will need at least 92 votes from the 137 MPs for the president to be removed from office.
