Security forces patrol outside the main gate of Ecuadorian National Assembly after president Guillermo Lasso dissolved the Congress amidst impeachment proceedings over alleged corruption. In dissolving congress, Lasso also called upon the National Electoral Council (CNE) to call new elections.
