U.S. President Joe Biden is expected to deliver remarks on Wednesday about the midterm elections as votes continue to be counted in tight races that could determine control of both chambers of Congress and whether Biden's next two years in office is met with resistance by Republican-led majorities.

The U.S. Senate is coming down to four races in Nevada, Georgia and Arizona. Georgia is highly anticipated to go to a runoff election, but its importance in determining control will depend on whether Republicans are able to win the other two races.

The U.S. House is also still undetermined, with each party having flipped seats but several yet to be called.
