Kremlin-linked oligarch Yevgeny Prigozhin has admitted to interfering in US elections, saying that he would continue to do so. His remarks on November 7, 2022, came on the eve of the US midterm elections. Prigozhin has previously denied involvement until now, but has since appeared increasingly interested in gaining political clout. In September, he publicly stated that he was behind the Wagner Group mercenary force, the private military firm involved in the Russia-Ukraine war in the city of Bakhmut, where the fighting has been intensifying.
