Iranian security forces opened fire on a busy subway station in the capital Tehran on November 15, 2022. Officers were seen on video beating women, reportedly because they were not wearing hair coverings required under the nation’s strict dress laws. The latest violence happened as protests over the death in police custody of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini entered a third month
