For the second day in a row, North Korea launched a missile off its eastern coast - this one suspected to be long-range, designed to hit the US. It comes as leaders from 21 Asia Pacific economies are gathered in Bangkok, Thailand for the first day of an Apec summit. China’s President Xi Jinping is attending APEC whereas the US has sent VP Kamala Harris. Though business and trade are the priority at these meetings, political issues such as North Korea’s regime, South China Sea territorial disputes and the Taiwan strait loom heavily. FRANCE 24's Asia correspondent in Bangkok, Yena Lee, tells us more.
