Iran will investigate the suspected poisoning of hundreds of schoolgirls, said the country’s health minister Bahram Eynollahi on March 2, 2023. More than 1,000 students have reportedly been poisoned by toxic gas in Iran since November 2022, with students suffering from respiratory problems, nausea, dizziness and fatigue. Some people suspect the poisonings could be linked to recent protests in the country.
