Huseyin Berber was pulled alive from the rubble of his home in Turkey after being trapped for nearly 187 hours after a magnitude 7.8 earthquake collapsed the building on February 6, 2023. The 62-year-old diabetic survived seated in an armchair and with a rug to keep him warm. He had only a single bottle of water with him, and when that ran out he had to drink his urine.
