Shadow Economic Secretary to the Treasury, Tulip Siddiq has told Sky News that despite avoiding a recession she is "really worried" about the latest figures and "the economy has been stagnant for the best part of last year".

The Labour MP says she has spoken to people who "cannot afford the essentials like bread and milk" and has called on the government to create a "proper plan for growth".
