Severe Canadian, US winter storms sweep through large parts of region

Frigid conditions are putting millions of Canadians and Americans under winter weather alerts.

Airlines are warning of travel delays in the coming days, threatening to snarl trips and connecting flights for North Americans looking to temporarily escape the cold.

Mike Drolet looks at the dangerous conditions, and which provinces will be hit next with a mix of bitterly cold Arctic air and moist tropical air from the Gulf of Mexico.
