Designers in Singapore are tapping into their skills to help solve a range of societal and environmental challenges. Ceramics specialist Genevieve Ang is among those trying to make a positive impact through design, and she is receiving funding, support and mentorship for her efforts through DesignSingapore Council’s Good Design Research initiative. Ang is currently working on a project with sustainability-focused tech firm Terra Sol and its CEO, Joe Tan, that seeks to turn glass waste into glazes that can be applied on her clay creations and sculptures.
