The annual China Development Forum, or CDF 2023, closed in Beijing on March 27. It was held in-person for the first time since the pandemic. The theme this year was "Economic Recovery: Opportunities and Cooperation." The focus was on China's economic performance and its links with the world economy. As the International Monetary Fund head said at the CDF, the strong rebound in China's economy is set to account for around a third of global growth this year. That spells good news for many global business leaders, who expressed confidence when they talked to CGTN anchor Tian Wei on the sidelines of the forum.
