Actor and entrepreneur Gwyneth Paltrow's ski collision trial continues in a Utah court on Friday, where she is expected to take the stand and answer questions about the incident.

Paltrow is accused of violently crashing into a man while skiing at a Utah resort in 2016.

Retired optometrist Terry Sanderson, who is suing Paltrow for US$300,000 is also expected to testify. He alleged the Goop founder collided with him while skiing at Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah, “knocking him down hard, knocking him out.”

In the complaint filed in 2019, Sanderson, 76, said the accident left him with “permanent traumatic brain injury, 4 broken ribs, pain, suffering, loss of enjoyment of life.” He maintains that Paltrow left him collapsed on the slope and skied away.
