Despite mounting civilian casualties as the Russian invasion of Ukraine enters its second week, some Ukrainians are defying the horrors of war by tying the knot amid the continuing onslaught of Russian attacks, including in the capital Kyiv where one couple got married on March 4, 2022. At the same time, others are mourning the loss of loved ones. As of March 7, 406 Ukrainian civilians have been reported killed since the Russian invasion began on February 24, 2022.
