Ontario Premier Doug Ford will be making an announcement on Tuesday alongside Nina Tangri, Associate Minister of Small Business and Red Tape Reduction.

As of March 1, Ontario will be dropping its proof of vaccination requirements for all settings, if public health and health system indicators continue to improve. Masking will remain in place, but a timeline for lifting that measure will be announced at a later date.

The province also boosted dose eligibility on Friday to those 12 to 17.
