A mother and daughter who have fled Ukraine are some of the first people to find a home in the UK through the sponsorship scheme.

Speaking to Sky News, Niyara Mamontova said that Russians are 'bombing all night and all day', as she pleaded with the West for more help 'to stop the war' and said 'Ukraine deserves to be alive.'
