IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi is holding a news conference on the situation at Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.

Russian forces bombarded Europe’s largest nuclear plant, early Friday, sparking a fire as they pressed their attack on a crucial energy-producing Ukrainian city.

Local politicians initially said that firefighters were unable to get close to the scene because they were being shot at - but a team of 40 people and 10 units have now extinguished the blaze which was at a training building.
