Officials from the U.S. Department of Justice and the FBI are expected to hold a press conference on Wednesday to discuss new and recent enforcement actions being taken to disrupt and prosecute criminal Russian activity.

Attorney General Merrick Garland, Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco and FBI Direct Christopher Wray are expected to speak.

The press conference comes just two days after the U.S. seized a superyacht of a Russian billionaire with close ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin. According to reports, Spanish and U.S. law enforcement boarded the yacht with authorities executing a court order placing a freeze on the vessel.

The U.S. Justice Department reportedly had obtained a seizure warrant seeking forfeiture in a federal court, alleging U.S. bank fraud, money laundering and sanctions violations.
