Pope Francis meets with President George Vella and Prime Minister Robert Abela after arriving in Malta, as the head of the Catholic Church and sovereign of the Holy See kicks off a two-day visit to the island state. The pontiff is expected to devote much of the visit to advocating on behalf of refugees and migrants.
