COVID-19: Some premiers concerned about advisory on non-essential international travel

With Ottawa advising against non-essential international travel due to the Omicron variant that causes COVID-19, several premiers are telling Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau they're not on board with the measures.
In the wake of Tuesday's meeting between them, there have been concerns from some premiers' offices that felt the Trudeau government was trying to use that first ministers’ call to build support for new tougher travel restrictions, including renewed quarantines and bans on inbound travel by non-Canadians.
