Telegraph, 17 Dec 2021
A 27-year-old woman has been arrested after two sets of twin boys died in an “intense blaze” at a house in south London.

The victims of the tragedy in Collingwood Road, Sutton, were two sets of male twins aged four and three, the deputy commissioner of the London Fire Brigade said.

Emergency crews including eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters were sent at around 7pm on Thursday to reports of the blaze.

The four children were treated at the scene after being recovered from the property, but later died in two south London hospitals, police said.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed on Friday morning that a 27-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of child neglect and remains in custody.
