Omicron accounts for approximately 90 percent of Covid-19 cases in New York City • FRANCE 24

The Biden administration will open federal #Covid-19 testing sites in #NewYork City this week and buy 500 million at-home rapid tests that Americans can order online for free starting in January as it tries to tackle the #Omicron variant of the coronavirus sweeping the country. The Omicron variant now accounts for approximately 90 percent of cases in New York City, FRANCE 24's Jessica Le Masurier reports.
