Staff from a tram company and a restaurant were rescued from two cable cars suspended on a mountain over 3,000 metres high in New Mexico.
The 21 people were stranded after a new year's shift, when a storm made the ice build up too fast on the cables making it unsafe to travel to the base of the mountain, according to Sandia Peak Tramway.
There were no injuries and everyone inside the tram cars was safe, according to local reports
