Campaigner Bill Browder believes the best way to stop Russia invading Ukraine is to target oligarchs in London who are propping up the Russian state.

Speaking to Sky's Trevor Phillips, Mr Browder explained that Mr Putin has "stolen an enormous amount of money" which he keeps in the name of trustees, many of whom are in the West.

"Putin values that money more than human life - he's killed a lot of people to keep that money," he said.

Therefore the "simplest way" of deterring him is to "go after his money", he said.
