'No longer proportionate': Sajid Javid announces plan to scrap NHS vaccine mandate
Guardian, 01 Feb 2022
Health secretary Sajid Javid announced U-turn on the NHS vaccine mandate policy that will prevent exodus of thousands of health workers who were unwilling to get a Covid-19 jab.
The move came three days before the 3 February deadline that unvaccinated NHS workers who had face-to-face contact with patients had been given to have had their first dose or be dismissed.
