Hong Kong student Hannah Boon was amazed to learn about the wide range of business uses of blockchain technology when joining other young talent at last year’s Blockchain Olympiad. She won a silver medal for her prototype featuring a blockchain-based solution that improves the use of loyalty reward schemes. The programme offered her not only training but the chance to interact with industry players – and has inspired her to keep thinking of new ideas.
