Four of Boris Johnson's most senior aides resigned on Thursday night in the wake of the "partygate" scandal which continues to engulf his premiership.
Speaking on BBC Question Time, Conservative MP Crispin Blunt compares Sir Keir Starmer's apology on behalf of the CPS over the lack of prosecution of Jimmy Savile to Boris Johnson's one over parties held in Downing Street.
A government source insisted their departures were part of a shake-up Mr Johnson promised MPs in the wake of the Sue Gray report on Monday.
