COVID-19: How nasal sprays could help fight the virus

The emergence of new COVID-19 variants has been an ongoing irritation for vaccine manufacturers.

The now-dominant Omicron subvariants BA.4 and BA.5 are better at spreading and evading protection.

That’s why some scientists are turning their attention to a new preventative measure they hope will tamper transmission. Jamie Mauracher reports on COVID-19 nasal sprays.
