Jade Belt Beach, also known as Yudai Beach, near the permanent venue of the Boao Forum for Asia in south China's Hainan Province is an 8.5-kilometer-long natural peninsula, with a width ranging from 10 to 500 meters. In 1999, the northern part of the beach was recognized by the Guinness Book of Records as "the narrowest beach peninsula separating sea from river."
